The location is perfect, just across the street from the train station and right next to a variety of delicious restaurants. The breakfast on the top floor not only serves a great selection of both Western and Japanese dishes but also offers amazing views of the Japan Alps. Free drinks in the lobby were a good bonus too!
Small room size.

The rooms were tastefully decorated and large here with floors below, a great view over to the hills beyond. An electric kettle and a fridge were a plus. Location: the hotel was not far from Bus terminal for Matsumoto Castle for 1-min, Matsumoto Castle and Nawate Street and the major train station and bus terminal.

This place suits me perfectly! The free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and laundry make my stays easy. On my first visit, the staff helped me find my lost ID card, and they were always friendly. I highly recommend it!

Was very close to the station and easy to find. The internet was wired in each room and laptops could be hired, though we had our own. The internet was very fast and only needed to be plugged in.
The room and bed were quiet small but it was ok for the one night that we stayed there.

ideal base for exploring culture and history in matsumoto
The hotel's location made it super easy for me to stroll to nearby attractions like the amazing matsumoto castle, just about a 15-minute walk. The convenience store right downstairs was a lifesaver for snacks on the go.

The location of this hotel is convenient, being just across from the train station. It made getting around Matsumoto so easy. One benefit I appreciated was the breakfast on the top floor, offering fine views of the Alps while serving both Japanese and Western dishes. I particularly enjoyed the local specialties they featured. The room was well-equipped and had a great view, though I found it a bit smaller than expected for three people. Some furnishings felt dated, and I wish the bathroom had been updated. Sound insulation wasn't great, as I could hear noise from the hallway and outside at times.

Request a room on a higher floor for a quieter stay, as lower floors can be noisy from hallways and adjacent rooms.

Very near to JR station. Very convenient in terms of transport & food. The hotel's security doors at every level give a peace of mind.
The ventilation is either heater or cooler and it is already set-up at the main. You can't set cooler if it is already set-up as heater.
